Why is it that when an official and a person of religion get into some trouble officials try to brush it off. They try to use every cover up and deference that they can. When Clinton was in office they dang sure did not try to cover his so called office encounter up at all.  If you are caught in the wrong do like you act, a man. If you live and the only thing you have to deal with are repercussions then so be it. Do not try to say well this happened or that tell the truth, survive the consequences and learn.
