Obama - Can he actually speak without a teleprompter?

A friend of mine shot me over a link that highlighted a portion of yesterday's Rush Limbaugh show where Rush apparently (and wisely I believe) pointed out that Obama without the benefit of his teleprompter is less than convincing when it comes to public speaking. If interested, the link to the publication can be found here --> http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=66740.
I think the point that Rush underscored from his program yesterday however is that if this had been George W. Bush, the cry from the cheap seats would have been along the lines of, "Can't we get someone to represent the US who can talk, can't we get a fella in here that can put together a coherent thought?"
I have some other comments on this that I'll post in another blog, but I felt this deserved some individual attention -

I know that you aren't going to attack the man for public speaking? I prefer that the leader of the free world read from the TV prompts and sound somewhat intelligent instead of the ramblings we've gotten from George.
For clarity, I don't give a shit about politics but if you are going to throw stones make sure you go outside the glass house.
Personally, I'm embarrassed by GW every time he gets on the TV and talks he makes the entire country look like a bunch of stupid ass rednecks.
