Agency/Advertiser Sales Manager You will help build new business by leveraging your strategic and consultative relationships with agencies and advertisers. The successful candidate must be results oriented, comfortable working with senior-level client personnel (Director/VP), versed in the business and technical aspects of online advertising, and demonstrate the leadership ability to guide a multidisciplinary agency team. Reports to the GM and CEO, Travel Required, NC Based. Key Responsibilities -Establish a robust pipeline by identifying, prioritizing and contacting advertisers and agencies, complete revenue forecast responsibilities -Clearly identify prospect needs, marketing initiatives/objectives, budget cycle and key decision-makers -Create proposals and sales presentations that address campaign objectives, negotiate final agreements, close deals -Utilize a thorough understanding of appropriate and available inventory -Maximize advertising results and ensure a high renewal rate by communicating with client services team and client to assure execution of contract deliverables and maximum program optimization -Demonstrate credibility as an expert in the categories assigned and in online advertising -Collaborate with development and agency teams to capture overall program results -Advocate the adoption of new solutions that provide consumer value and competitive differentiation -Continually evaluate and adjust sales strategies, plan & tactics to optimize clients' campaigns Experience, Skills, Abilities -BA/BS degree or equivalent -3-5 years of success in online advertising sales or media experience at an agency -In-depth knowledge of interactive advertising and media landscape -Decision-maker contacts and relationships with agencies and clients -Ability to sell conceptual and profitable advertising programs -Highly developed written and oral presentation skills -Be well networked in the online ad industry at a variety of levels -Experience selling to ad agencies as well as direct to client media buyers -Experienced in Google or Overture Advertising Modules and Programs -Understanding of Internet metrics and related measuring tools -Demonstrated leadership skills, interpersonal communication, and negotiating, decision-making and organizational skills. -Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include exceptional listening skills -Must be a team player and able to go the extra mile -Ability to manage multiple projects at once -Self-starter, results-oriented individual -Proven record of responsibility, collaboration and self-motivation Benefits include salary plus commission, stock options upon trial period, health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k).
