Police have notified the parents of 2nd Lt. Holley Wimunc that they have found the remains of thier 24 year old Daughter. Crews fighting brush fires in Sneads Ferry N.C. found the charred remains of Wimunic this weekends.

 Investigators said that items found at the scene "gave investigators strong suspicions" that the remains were those of Wimunc.

 Marine Cpl. John Patrick Wimunc is being held on a $500,000 bond in the Cumberland County Jail. Kyle Ryan Alden, a fellow Marine, is also being held under a $250,000 bond. Both are being charged with first-degree arson.

The Fayetteville Police Department has scheduled a news conference at 3p.m. this afternoon.
