Born and raised in the deep south so please overlook my spelling and grammar. We tend to type as we speak, but do discount that I may not have a brain.

What is wrong with the world? What is wrong with people? I interject with, has anything really changed? Are we just more informed?
Please allow me to refer you to a book written by Harold Schechter “Deranged”. Mr. Schechter describes the life of Albert Fish. Albert would stick needles through his flesh and into the pelvic region of his body and at the time of his arrest he was X-rayed and they found twenty-nine needles lodged in his pelvic region. Please allow me to quote from the book. “In May 1928, a kindly old man came to the door of the Budd family..” That is an exact quote. May of 1928.
OK I am back to the Canada story now. I will embellish your curiosity. Apparently there was a man named Li age 40 that was riding the bus and sitting beside a young man. The bus stopped to allow the passengers to take a break. Li stabbed his seat mate and after the other passengers ran off of the bus and locked him in he cut off his seat mates head and displayed it to the passengers while they stood outside the bus.
As horrific as this story is it is not the first time nor is it the most horrific. Please do not take this as my insensitivity. I feel nothing but shock and dismay with the events that happened in Canada. It is reported that Li actually ate some of the victims flesh.
As always we sit and ask why. We ask what the person was thinking and we ask how they could do something like this. There is no reason. There is nothing but sorrow.
Li is being charged with second degree murder and for good reason. This was a random act of violence that could never be conceived as premeditated.
We are now bombarded with the news. We can hear about this on the news, read about it from a newspaper, hear it on the radio, and here we are writing about it on the net. This has been going on from the beginning we are just more informed and we still ask the question. “Why?” The answer to the question is “Crazy.”.
Something to think about.
